  1. Need help with this one!

A recent newbie to backing up DVD's I have been copying DVD-9 format to DVD-5 the same as the guide in this forum.
    ie DVD Decrypter
DVD2One : Selecting Movie only and Sound Channels
Then Burning with Copy to DVD

The movies play excellent, but in each one (so far T3 and Bend it Like Beckham) The ending of the movie is cut off say( the last 2 minutes roughly) and another chapter from some other part of the movie plays.
There is no loss of quality in the unwanted chapter.

Is it a setting in DVD2One? ANY suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

try chaging the DVD size setting to 4450MB
i had the same problem where the last chapter (usuaully the credits) went missing and replaced itself with another chapter from the iddle of the movie
i found by reducing the maximum size setting on DVD2One from the default setting (something like 4470MB) to 4450, all works well now
    hope this helps

I think DVD2One is default set to 4472mb. While I've never had any problems recording that size, I re-set it to 4450mb a couple months back just to be on the safe side. Try that first.

Also.....cheapo media can cause what yer reporting. Tiz not uncommon to get glitches near the end of the movie. If you are using some store-brand, Princo or bulkpaq dvdr's, try a name brand media like Maxell, Ritek, TDK etc. With DVD media, you get what you pay for.

Thou Shalt Not Use Cheapo Media

  4. Thanks very much for your help guys... I gave it a shot but it still cut the last chapter, so it wasn't dvd2one that was the problem after all.

Instead of burning with "copy to dvd" I used Nero, and WALAH!!! perfect dvd copy no problems. It was faster too so a win-win result!

Excellent site by the way, by far the most useful and easy to understand guides out there, with relevent link sites as well!

I hope this helps anyone else out there with a similiar problem.
    Keep Rippin'
