  1. I know that idvd 1 and 2 only supported a max of 99 images in one slideshow, does anyone know if iDVD 3 can support more then 99 images in one slideshow?

    never really used it, what do I do, just import pictures??? under the slideshow tab??

  3. I believe that the 99 images limit is tied into the DVD Specifications....
    More that that and it most likely will not play on DVD Players,

    Since each image seems to end up as a chapter, and 99 chapters is a DVD limit as far as I know that explains it....

    In other words 99 titles, 99 sub-menus, 99 chapters per title/menu.

    As a work around, speaking in generic mode, find some software that will take images and make a video from them, that should let you add as many as you want, but then you will have to add chapters (up to 99) manually after adding it to the DVD you are creating. And you will lose the ability to jump to each picture with the chapters button on the remote and will have several images per chapter.

    I ended up just importing all the images into iMovie as stills, that way I was able to add music as well. Worked out well for what I needed.
