Whenever I do anything in TMgpenc, the dialog boxes appear at the bottom of my screen. I have to grab it by the title bar and drag it up so I can read it.
I've searched the TMpgenc website and Microsoft's Windows 2000 Support pages and could not find anything like it.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a solution?

change your screen resolution to a higher setting - 1024x768 should do it.
right click any area on your desktop, select "Properties", under the tab "Settings" you should see a slider at the bottom, you can slide from 640x480 to 800x600 to 1024x768... if you can't slide it up high enough, you should get a new video card.- housepig

delete TMPGEnc.ini in your tmpgenc folder (a new one with default settings will be created next time you start tmpgenc)

Could it be because I'm running multiple monitors? -

yea -- i have multiple monitors also and it always opens on the left one and will not close to the task bar on the right .. i fiddled with the ini and got it to work .. cant really remember what i did though .
might have been dumb luck ..
i think i reinstalled it after del the ini and maybe the registry -
That was weird.
I disabled my two other monitors so I was down to a single monitor. I ran Tmpgenc and went into the options to get the dialog boxes to pop up. Everything ran fine. The dialog boxes were in the middle of the screen.
I closed Tmpgenc then re-enabled my other two monitors. I ran Tmpgenc again and everything was fine.
I guess Windows or Tmpgenc had to save the new screen coordinates or something...
