I succesfull shrinked a title with the reauthor mode and then with a level 1 re-encode.

The dvd-r work wery well!!!!!

But the language and the subtitles are locked so I cant change it.

(language and subs only were modifiable by menu, but now the menu is gone)

I think I have to change somewhat in the ifo file with ifo edit, but what?
