  1. Hi, I have asked this before but got no-where. I am trying to play films on my computer but I can see funny blue and red marks on the screen. I have just re-installed Win 2000, thought it might be 2000 so installed ME aswell the same prob. I know the .AVI file works beacuse it work on my other computer (running ME).

Do you mean like little blobs that appear then drain away like it's oversaturated?? I just downloaded a film and it was like that.
I scapped it as I thought it was just the film. All my others play fine.
I'm going to get a different version of the film.
It even played like this after encoding to an mpeg so I don't think it's a playback issue.
