  1. Hi! Can anyone tell me if DVDSqueeze is worth the cash needed for it? They say that don't have virtually any loss of quality, but i'd like to know the opinion of somebody that already tried it.

    Thanks for the attention

If you do a search in the Forums about DVD Squeeze, I think you'll find that all it is is a collection of freeware and shareware, with a little Flash front-end on it, and not a well-written one from what I've heard.

So it's not going to do anything any faster or better, maybe a little easier as you're going through 1 front-end file, but then again, you'll probably have more control if you work directly with the applications it's hiding from you.

DVDsqueeze is a great big hunk of crap.

It takes the freeware and re-sells it. Last I checked, that should be illegal. However, since the authors themselves may come under fire from RIAA and MPAA, they just keep quiet for the most part. Let the DVDsqueeze people get shafted by MPAA et al.

And no, you cannot sue me for slander. This is a product review. If you think differently, please go consult a lawyer.

  7. It really does suck. I think they should give a full refund to everyone they duped into buying it, THEN they should throw in a couple hundred apiece for pain and suffering.
    Sometimes, ya just gotta.....umm, what's the word........FART???

  8. actually they can sue you..think again. Will they win in court...most likely not. Is it worth the risk? I got better things to worry about than this crap.

Yeah, and I can sue anybody for looking at me funny. In both cases, it would be thrown out in pre-trial for stupidity. That's if a lawyer was actually dumb enough (or paid enough) to go through with the paperwork.

Look up "slander" in the dictionary. Then look up "libel" next. You're confusing the two. And even then, libel must be malicious and cause harm that is unprovoked.

A product review can call something "a worthless waste of code" and be well within the rights granted to the people in most countries in the world.

In this case, DVDsqueeze is a giant hunk of crap that steals technology from others. It's front-end is a waste of code.

I'm well within my rights, and no matter how hard the thieves that created that product may not like my statement, there's not a damned thing they can do about it.

  10. TXPHAROAH IS TOTALLY RIGHT

DVD SQUEEZE gives you a bunch of links so you can download FREEWARES.
The only thing they created is a nice menu.
I suggest NOT TO BUY it
I don`t think they dare to sue anybody cuz they are the ones who should be sued.

MrBass, you must be one of them.

Let them try and sue you in Canada, for that stupid crap. Judge would laugh at them, stick them with the legal costs, and throw it out. No matter. The DVD squeeze people just may find they'll have legal problems aplenty, from disgruntled software authors, and the MPAA soon enough.

Another product that seemed like a good deal on the face, but turned out to use freeware is DVD ECHO. I tell you, there is plenty of people out there that will package something that is free and find a way to charge the unknowing consumer an inflated price for a pretty box!
    Thank God for these forums!
