    got movie of 1400 mb .changed video and audio to pal. using tmpeg .went to burn it to dvd using instant dvd. it says movie will have to be converted because it came out at 5.3gb. taking 20+hrs is there anyway of compressing movie so it will burn first time.have been reading up about dvd shrink. sorry not good at explaining things?can anyone point me in a direction thanxs.

    don't know about instant dvd, but I assume that there is a setting that you can change the burn format from NTSC to PAL. My guess is that your settings are for NTSC.
