i am having trouble decryting this film dvd backup cnnaot find a key osex
doesn't recognize the disc and extractor says there are problems with encryption anyone out there with the same dilemma??????

already tried that plus went back to the video store and got another copy with the exact same problem, so what is up with this, first disc i have encountered with this hang up.......

Hi!

I did the mothman prophecies (pal) the other day with no problem at all, i used dvd backup 1.3. Maybe it's some difference between the pal and the ntcs version when it comes to encryption, i don't know.

Not much help but i just wanted to tell you.

If you're attempting to make a copy of this disc onto a DVD-R, technically this is piracy and is against the forum policy. If you're just time-shifting your Mothman viewing experience, then that may be alright. Seems though if time-shifting was the case, you could have just watched the movie by now and been done with it.
