Is it just me or does it seem like there is really not any reliable online dealers that sell DVD media. I have read so many posts about people buying a certain type of DVD media from a dealer and like the results they get with that media. But when they go and order the same kind from the same dealer they recieve something that is not exactly the same as the ones they got before. Sorry if I am wrong here, I am not speaking from personal experience because I always buy media from local stores. So, I guess I am wondering if anyone has had purchased DVD media from an online dealer and went back to get more and recieved the same kind everytime and have been happy with the service. If so what type of media did you buy and can you provide a link to the dealer.
One more thing "How long did it take to get your order?"
THANKS EVERYONE,

I saw they started offering the Optodisc white printable tops and ordered a hundred this morning. Now they are out of stock on them also! Hope I got my order in on time...!

Good luck and thanks for the reply.

I've gotten my DVD-Rs (Ritek G03 and Optodisc) from http://www.precisioncddvd.com They don't have as large a selection like some of the other dealers but their service and prices are excellent. I've always gotten my orders within two days.

www.rima.com and www.newegg.com works great. I've ordered from both a couple of times and they both shipped the same day. You just gotta know where to look.

I have always have had good luck with http://www.shop4tech.com and free shipping. I am on about my400th Ritek now with no problems in both +/- formats.

I've used rima.com, shop4tech.com, and meritline before. Both are pretty good.
However meritline held my order up days because the dvd cases were not in stock, instead of shipping them seperately. Then when the cases came in, shipped them in what appears to be two different boxes anyway. Other then that they are ok.
shop4tech I only stopped using because their Ritek prices went up more then others, and RIMA just rocks. -
I like Rima.com to the point I buy from them exclusively. They have great prices, they ship same day if you order before 12PM PST. Their service is outstanding. They carry all the popular brands, with a good range of prices.
I did notice that since Rima started carrying the Samsung BeAll disks Meritline dropped their price on that media nearly 30 cents a disk. Rima still gets my biz. -
I've never had a problem with Meritline -- they are always fast for me and always deliver what I order. I've also ordered from PC Club when I wanted *real* cheap media and it's also always been on time and what I ordered (for example: http://www.pcclub.com/product_detail.cfm?itemno=A3458849 ).
Like with all large companies there are bound to be a certain percentage of horror stories, and you need to take these with the appropriate dose of salt. If you shop locally I'm sure you can also find friends/family who will tell you some terrible experiences with those places as well. As long as you understand the Real World and are willing to deal with the imperfections in it you should be happy with nearly all large media sellers (and you sure can't beat the price locally!)"Like a knife, he cuts through life, like every day's his last" -- Mr. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang -
Thanks for the replies everyone.
