    Download the BTWINCap drivers http://btwincap.sourceforge.net/

This will uninstall the current ATI capture drivers, and you may lose the capture functions of the included ATI software, but these drivers will allow the card to capture flawlessly at 720x480.

The ATI TV Wonder VE I own has the Conexant Fusion 878a chip, but the BTWINCap software detects it as 848. You may need to pull your card to write down the chips (BT 8?8, and Philips Tuner model), to make sure the correct drivers get installed. The BT chip is on the back. The only bug I spotted by letting it install the wrong drivers were channel numbers off by one, slightly blurry picture Q. Once I reinstalled and gave the software my chip specs, all was great.

I suggest ATI users always use MMC and the newest drivers for BEST functionality of the card. If disturbed1 says it works, give it a try, sure, but in general I've found the ATI software (once properly tweaked and NOT using capture templates) will surpass vdub and the other freebies.
I'm not online anymore. Ask BALDRICK, LORDSMURF or SATSTORM for help. PM's are ignored.

tx is 100% right with AIW cards,

but the TV wonder series is a different animal. The ATI drivers limit the card to a max of 640x240!!! Even though they use the same Brooktree capture chips.

Hmmmm, wonder if you can use the AIW drivers/software on a TV wonder Prob. not. I may have to dig out my TV Wonder VE and blow the dust off it

You can't capture past 320x240 in VDUB unless you use the WDM wrapper. Try IUVCR or PowerVCR or one of the other capture programs. The ati VE will do 720x480 with non-ati drivers.
