    Theres the good brand cd'rs you can get and the cheap kind, does it really matter if you use the cheap kind to burn stuff with?

    I use mostly very inexpensive or free after rebate disks. Sometimes it's best to burn them slower than the speed they are rated for but most work just fine for me.

    It depends...some DVD players don't like (S)VCDs if they're not recorded on cyanine CD-Rs like Taiyo Yuden.
