    My Aiwa xd-DW7 has stopped playing anything other than original dvd's.... i.e. vcd's & dvd's burnt from my pc where before it would play anything. This started after I lent my player to my kids who swaer blind nothiong happened to it... is there anything they could have done which would cause this???

    Bad firmware upgrade?
    Changing the menu options.

    And of course the entertaining reasons...
    Peanut-n-jelly sandwiches in the disc tray.?
    Actually using it as a cup holder?

    I don't have this player, so just guessing at typical reasons.
