    I usually encode Xvid to SVCD but now i have som problems. After ive encoded the video doesnt play right. it stops every few seconds for a very short time(some ms) and then goes on. Anybody knows how i could handle that problem?

    About every second maybe?

    What are the frame rates of your original and your finish movie?
    You did not say how you got from Xvid to SVCD.

    this normally happens when going from NTSC 23.9fps to pal 25fps

    my source was 23.976 fps.
    i encoded it to 23.976 fps. could the problem be that i didnt use 3:2 pulldown for the SVCD ???
