I have a DVD that I want to capture. I have a Studio DC10+ ( not the best) capture card.
The card captures an .AVI file. What file type would I need to capture if I wanted to play on a home DVD player? ie must I convert the file to mpg, mpeg1, mpeg2, mpeg4 or Divx or what?
The DVD is PAL
TIA

Capture the DVD to AVI, then convert that to DVD-compliant MPG2.
But you'd be better off ripping the DVD if you have a DVD-ROM player in your PC...
