  1. I have a subtitle stream in the format of .srt but i need to change that to .sub so i got this program called "Subtitle Workshop." Now this program lets my convert my subs to .sub except that there's like 5 different subtitle formats with the extension of .sub so i was wondering which one to use. And if this is any factor i'm just wanting to multiplex cvd subs to my .mpg and make an svcd out of it. Thanks

You should use submux format if you can. If it can't produce submux format then use Phillips SVCD Designer format and edit the .sub file in a text editor to delete the header (everything above the first subtitle line).
