    What bundled program did you use to capture with? I suggest you go to the Tools section at left and see if there is a program that may be more effective at capturing in MPEG.

    April 2003 Catalyst drivers are best and ATI MMC 7.7 is most stable. The guide in my sig may help you convert VHS-DVD on an ATI.

    Sounds like your problem comes from MPEG-2 playback (not capture).
