Both have left, they have moved on to KingJohn's website. It seems like KingJohn left on bad terms again, but I still feel like he's a friend, personally.

That's too bad. Sorry to hear that.

I checked both of these guys' last posts and didn't see anything to indicate something was wrong (Unless some stuff was deleted). KingJohn was always very involved and had some good ideas and suggestions. I was catching up on some older stuff and saw that Crahak was last discussing a topic about a standalone divx player. Whether that will ever happen except commercially (if ever) is neither here nor there but I found the topic interesting.

Is it permissible to post a link to KINGJOHN 's site or would that be in bad taste if he left on less than good terms?

The name Crahak doesn't ring a bell to me. If he left I don't see anything to suggest that it was on bad terms, but if he is an active member on KJ's board than that really doesn't suprise me.

KingJohn was banned quite a while ago for numerous reasons, and he was definitely given fair warning. He recently spammed up this board under another user name. He and another user basically posted links to his web site in as many threads as they could before we were able to ban them. The reason you don't see these is because they were edited or moved to the closed topics forum. Trust me, there were no less than 15 threads which had to be moderated.

There is no need to post a link to his site. There is already a link posted in a thread under the "guides on other sites" forum.

I don't know either of these guys personally but I know that KingJohn had some good guides and was very active on the forum. Even when I don't agree with everything someone says I like it when they contribute especially when its not just stuff like "that stinks" or "dream on" or some other meaningless drivel.

I only noticed because I was looking up some older topics and wanted to follow-up but the trail suddenly went cold. When I checked the users I noticed that they had not been posting for a few months.

Its a shame to lose good contributors but if someone persists in breaking forum rules then I guess you have to act.
