    i have windows 2k, and ive installed all the divx files (3.11 alpha included) which has a M$ hacked codec but i think its a video codec not an audio codec. I dont have IMA ADPCM and i cannot watch a video which is encoded with it i cannot find this codec anywhere and its driving me nuts. anyone have any idea?

    Borrow use of a friend's win98 machine to rip out the sound and recode it as something more relevant to the modern world...

    Then go over and slap microsoft around a bit for causing you this trouble and potential incompatibility with a host of cdrom encyclopaedias by omitting a little 16k codec.

    Back after a long time away, mainly because I now need to start making up vidcapped DVDRs for work and I haven't a clue where to start any more!
