I have a lot of music videos captured from TV and stored on disk. My question is, how can i make a DVD of all these individual videos?
Do i have to joined them all and author it with chapters separating each video?
I use SpruceUp, IFOedit and Pinnacle impression DVD because they support AC3. This gives me the option to make a MiniDVD cause my players only play MiniDVD with AC3 audio. I don't care to author and burn all at once. I normally author the DVD files and use Instant CD/DVD.
I've used Ulead Movie Factory 2.0 and it worked by just importing each file but i don't like the idea that it re-encodes and i have had audio/video sync problems. Any Ideas?
Thank you

As Phil Collins from Genesis said "No reply at all" "There's no Reply at all"
Is anybody listening. -
Spruce up works fine..
I just end up with 20 buttons on a menu
or three menus with 6.5 buttons each
Since you are encoding all youself from DV or other tape source..
all MPEG and AC3 IN THE PROJECT WILL BE THE SAME KIND AND ACCEPTABLE WITHOUT RECRUNCHING
I think Spruce up handles ac3 -
Thanks DCSOS for responding,
Your telling me that i need to make one big file out of them or just input each individual file into SpruceUp and make each video a chapter?
I'm ok with SpruceUp I actually use this for movies and yes it does support AC3.
All my source files are captured directly from DirectTV and onto the hard drive as AVI then encoded to MPEG 1 or 2. The Latter being for DVD of course. Nothing is captured from VHS or DV. -
Usually I just put each clip on a seperate menu button (usually a small scrren capture frame capture)
I'd love to learn how to COMBINE IDENTICAL (MPEG-2 streams into one big file that
has chapter poits where each music video begins, but this , I think, shoul be done first , outside of spruce...
But then ...seeing one big stream how would it know where the chapter poits are?
I don't even know spruce up well enough to know if you can make your own chapters in a stream while watching your MPEG-2 play "on the fly"
I think I read the new DVD-Lab coming out will allow setting arbitrary chapter points after imporing the file easily
