    My AVI movie is a widescreen movie.. but when I converted it to VCD (with TMPGEnc) it became 4:3, even though I tried to make it 16:9.

    And so, now I want to make it a 16:9 movie again,, HOW???

    Use the "keep aspect ratio" option.
