I ordered a test pack of DVD-R that came in today. I was looking at each of them and I found that the recording surface of Dup-EZ and Princos looked nearly identical. So I put them in my dvd-r and used ADVDinfo to check it out. Here are the two media codes that came out:

Princo:
00 42 00 00 01 40 C1 FD 9E D8 50 00 02 98 0C 13 .B...@....P.....
76 78 80 00 03 50 52 49 4E 43 4F 00 04 00 00 00 VX...PRINCO.....
00 00 00 00 05 88 80 00 00 00 01 00 00 00 00 00 ................

DupEZ:
00 42 00 00 01 40 C1 FD 9E D8 50 00 02 98 0C 13 .B...@....P.....
76 78 80 00 03 4C 44 30 31 00 00 00 04 00 00 00 VX...LD01.......
00 00 00 00 05 88 80 00 00 00 01 00 00 00 00 00 ................

The codes look very similar, so should I be worried about my Dup-EZ's fading away? I've been using them for the past two months and they've worked great.
