    I am just a little confused. i see people talking about the 2x for all hacked firmware that makes all dvdr's burn at 2x. Is that the 1.30 firmware that i see out to download or is it a diff one ? could someone please explain to me ?

    NVM guys i found my own answer. the 1.30 firmware is the hack that lets you burn all at 2x and you can also rip dvd's faster than 2.1 now.
