What is the make and model of your player? Did you check it in the Players section to see if it plays VCD's or not?

  4. It may say VCD on it but, that just means it plays store bought VCD's. It may not play home grown VCD's.

Don't give in to DVD2ONE, that leads to the dark side.

So, your player doesn't like a lot of CD-R brands, but accepts CD-RW's better. Try new media or CD-RW's.

As well, you can try the header trick to see if it will play SVCD's. Many Sony's will accept it. http://www.vcdeasy.org/modules.php?name=_Guides&id=VcdTrick

  7. Is the video file you are burning vcd compliant? On the left hand side of this web page check out what is vcd and see if your video file matches the parameters given there.

  9. No. At the very top look for "what is". The next selection is vcd. Click on that link.

  11. What? Go to https://www.videohelp.com/vcd and look at the specifications for vcd. Make sure that your file meet these specifications.
