i've searched here and elsewhere, i want to enable at least dv-in on my jvc grdvx400, i can find lots of links for how to do it to sony, and lots of people who want to take 30 quid off me to give me a free program, i might be able to use that dv-in zip prog to do it but does anyone know if it is sucessful for the jvc model same as you can do for sony? much more usefully though, dors anyone know can you enable the s-video/s-vhs socket as video-in? reason is i want to use the camera as a pass-thru to copy hi-8 films from old camcorder thru the new one onto s-vcd, and everywhere i read that the best place to do the d/a conversion is in a digicam, then just capture the digital feed from the digicam via firewire. any thoughts anyone please, thanks v much
