best firmware revison for Ritek GO3 on Pioneer A04

Ready to try an upgrade from my Pioneer A04 which has its original 1.20 firmware , I only use Ritek GO3 and would like to burn at 2x

Which version can burn these disks at 2x

1.31 is known as the best firmware for the A04

Thanks, I upgraded to 1.31 and my ao4 does burn at 2x though looking at the discs the end does not burn right and freezes, going back to 1x speed, Not worth throwing away discs to save a few minutes

yeah, it's worth waiting an hour to burn 4.38 GB to ensure a good burn. hell, just a few years ago i waited an hour to burn an 80 minute audio CD.

I just went through this same issue....I was using 1.31 as that was supposed to be the best for allowing 2x burns....however I quickly discovered the same freezing problems you did. What I did to clear up my problems is upgrade to version 1.40 + 2x hack. It cleared up all the freezing problems and burns at 2x.

PLEASE help me update my pioneer DVD-R 104. I tried to update to
version 1.31 and it says Model name of kernel is not matched. It says that for every version... I currently have version1.30. I tried downgrading
first then upgrading, but that wont work either!!!!!!!! Someone please
help me !!!!!! SAM
