    The simplest way ?

    Well, since you don't mention what software / experience you have ( ), maybe buy yourself a copy of ULead's DVD Movie Workshop, import the AVEQ001.DAT file from the VideoCD into it, Batch Convert it into a DVD compliant stream and burn.

    If you know about stripping the audio from the MPEG1 stream using the likes of TMPGenc, re-encoding etc, then post back and and we might be able to help you out a bit further.

    try newbie conversion 'budd131' it looks like its going to be your best bet if you haven't got a clue what you're doing!
