AVI_IO Error

Since I was having problems with VirtualDub and resolutions > 320x240, I decided to try out AVI_IO. The first time I ran the program and attempted to capture from my Pinnacle card, I could not get it to capture. It seemed to indicate that I could not capture beyond the 02 file (It looks like the trial is limited to 3 files of 4GB and it was trying to go beyond that when I first started my capture) eventhough I had not done any other files at that time. I gave up and exited to look for help here. When I attempted to use AVI_IO again, it tells me that another application is using my capture card. There is no other applications running. If I leave AVI_IO and use PowerVCR, I can use the capture card and see a picture. Even if I reboot and try running AVI_IO first, I still get the error. Anyone have any ideas? Also, I do not want to split AVI files as the disk I use is NTFS. Can I force AVI_IO to not split files?

In case anyone else has this problem, it can be fixed by downloading and using the sourceforge drivers if they will work with you capture board.
