  2. I use Nero DVD video template and the only coasters I get is media problems not burning software problems

    I mainly use RNM, and Nero. Sometimes use Prassi but that is very similar to RNM.
    As above.....it is usually the media or method used prior to burning which is the culpret...not the software used to burn.

  4. I got two coaster from PS8, it stop burning DVD-R for some unknown reaons, for good.
    I had zero coaster from Nero Express. (Burn 50 DVD-R so far).

  5. I use IMG Tools + DVD Decrypter (all freeware), and have NEVER produced a single coaster (although I have made authoring mistakes ) I actually recommend this method anyway as you get a proper DVD Video disc (vs. Nero's old f&cked up template, which has since been fixed).

    Sort of like VCDImager vs. Nero et.al.

    I have 6 systems in the house, 75 percent use Nero Express. Never burned a coaster. The other ones have Record Now and Record Now Max, no coaster on those either. Bought a copy of the new Roxio package, yes I was board and had some expendable cash, EZ CD Creator, burned two, no problems. If you can use an empty hardrive for all your video work. If not defrag and check the drive for errors bi-weekly. I like Nero the best!
