IM SO SAD: cleaner makes audio and video not synch

Help me please!

Im using cleaner 6 and I really like it, its really a powerful encoder (I really like the fade-in and fade-out option as well as some others). Im converting some mpegs into vcd compatible mpegs but the audio and video get out of synch after 2 minutes of footage. What shall I do? Any tricks for this?

Please help if you can, cleaner is the only mac converter I know how to work with...

Cleaner....yuck! I have to use this program at work, but don't like it.

vcdgear can do a mpeg to mpeg convert for you, and should work well.

As for cleaner, you're not changing the frame-rate are you? The frame-rate you your input is the same as the outout?

im trying to convert a ntsc mpg to a pal mpg so i guess im changing the frame rate from 29,7 to 25, right? i think vcd gear doesnt let me do that

i also have another question: how do i burn a pal svcd to a disc on mac? toast doesnt seem to have a svcd option.

That maybe the problem. Cleaner doesn't handle frame-rate changes well. And I'm not sure if vcdgear allows for that or not.
