Help me narrow down the problem plz. Urgent

First hi everyone, I have been enjoying this site for a long time and finally I need help...

I have a list of files to convert from rmvb to mpeg-1 using EO. But when it is done it audio is way off(a good 3sec off), 10 files have been tested and they are all off. Here is my rig
1700+ @ 1673mhz/w2k/ATI AIW RADEON/2x 256mb PC2700/Leadtek NF2.

And a friend of mine is doing the exact same thing(same files using EO from rmvb to mpeg) and he don't have sync problem, 10 files have been tested and they are all sync. Here is his rig.
P4 2.0(512k)/Intel 850 mb/256mb rambus/3d lab 32mb card(the entry level one)

I have try to bring my rig back to stock speed, do it under Win98, do it on my sister's P4 system. And none of it work. The only problem I can think of now is I am using the EO trail version and my friend is using full registered version.

Can anyone help me to id where the problem is?

I ran into the exact same problem!

I'm using RealONE player, what player are you using and what player is your friend using?

And which OS is your friend running?

Hope someone can find a solution to this ...
