    After burning a disk and playing it in my stand alone. The menu will not stay up.

    After about 5 to 10 seconds, it starts to play whatever button is highlighted.
    I would rather it wait till you tell it to play from the remote.

    How do I tell the button in Ulead to NOT auto play when highlighted?

    It sounds like you have the menu time out enabled.... check in your menu section when authoring and "un-click" menu time out, should do the job.
