Phone calls online?

Does anyone know of a way I can make phone calls online? I use cable modem so i'm not sure. Any help would be appreciated thanks much and have a good day laterzzz

Not sure if this is what you're looking for, but this could save you some money if you make alot of long distance calls.

Check out haxial.com. Look on their products page for something called netfone. You can make free phone calls to anywhere in the world with their free software. The only catch is of course you must have speakers and a microphone, and the party you call must have netfone installed on their computer as well as speakers and a microphone. Bottom line is your computer calls their computer not their telephone.

If you're going that route, you can also just use Yahoo or Micro$oft messenger clients. I use Yahoo Messenger all the time to talk to a friend overseas - sure beats the hell out of $1.00+ per minute long distance....
