  1. Hi there !

    I have a CD with a movie in .MPG format
    on the CD there is the following lib.
    EXT
    MPEG2
    AVSEQ01.MPG
    SVCD

    this CD i canīt view in my DVDPlayer, so I would like to convert the .mpg so that I can view this movie direct in my DVDplayer
    any1 now how I do this ?

    This looks like a SVCD.Normally, all (99%) DVD standalone players can play such a SVCD (if it's made correctly).If you want a VCD, you have to extract the mpg file to your HDD and convert it to mpeg-1 (VCD).See tutoroial on the left side.But beware, going from SVCD to VCD sacrifies the resolution.

  3. Maybe a stupid question,

    do you say that I should bee able to play the CD with the .mpg direct in the DVDplayer ?

    If the CD is authored as SVCD, yes- you can play that directly in your standalone player.
    Otheriwse, you should burn it as SVCD.
