    I have a mpg file downloaded from Internet. Microsoft Media Player
    gives me sound but no video. Still I've burnt it with Nero. Looks OK.
    I can play it now using my DVD and having both : sound and video in place.
    Why it doesn't work with the Player?

    WMP won't play mpeg2 (SVCD), which is what you must have.
