    im in canada right now at school, and i haven't been able to find any double density cd-rs anywhere...can anyone tell me wheres a good place in canada to find them or possibly give me a link to a website that delivers to canada (is that asking for warez?)..holla back..i really want some of these

    DD CDRs are only made with a special burner, I think by Sony. They arent compatible anywhere as far as I know, u couldnt even read them if you put them back into your normal CDRW, and I doubt they would have a chance of playing in a car stereo or as vcd.

    Try cdrinfo.com for some help, they might have some info.

    Something of interest is that Plextor just annoucned increased pit burn depth on its new CDRW drives that take normal 700 MB media that we all use and punches up the capacity to 1.2-1.4 GB or so, with out any of the compatiblilty issues. I would go for one of these before an entirely different format.
