winamp 2.9

just thought i'd let everyone know this is out if you dont already know.. as usual it kicks the ass at playing mp3's, but it also plays video too.. which is very cool. and it doesnt have a gay interface. the only thing i wonder though is if it will play xvid/divx video that uses ac3 audio.. i'm too lazy to put on together.. so if anyone knows, lemmie know.

I cry for my old winamp... I dont want winamp to play videos, thats what video players are for. Leave it to AOL to force stuff on me I dont want. The reason they did this was because not as many people were willing to upgrade to 3. So they bring their features own down and call it 2.

That aside, if you like it thats cool. I just wasn't to happy about video funtionality inside Winamp myself.

i think most people didn't upgrade because 3.0 is very buggy. also 2.x skins don't work on 3.0. so many people were just, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it."

i've hated winamp3 since the moment i installed it.

but they did intergrate video play in to winamp 2.90 well.

i'd like to have an all-in-one player, as long as it isnt gay. which it doesnt appear to be so far.

I deleted winamp 3 only after a few hours of haveing it.
I love 2 better.
