    Any players out there region free, macrovision off, dvd-rw compatible, optical out and have anamorphic PAL conversion with correct aspect ratio? I haven't been able to find one that has all these features.

    The closest I've found is the Sampo 612N, but it doesn't have optical out or macrovision off. Thanks.

    well uhh... how important is the macrovision off really... if you are dubbing to VHS off DVD I think your time would be better spent making SVCD's The Cyberhome 500 is region free via remote control hack, has optical out, internal PAL-NTSC conversion is progressive scan and is umm.. dirt cheap..
