  1. how do i split avis to fit on vcds

    I convert whole thing first and then use TMPGEnc's MPEG Tools to split the file. If you split the AVI and then convert to MPG, you may have sync and other video/audio probs.

    Hey,

    You can cut and edit AVI files very easily with VirtualDub. To my knowledge it is freeware under the tools section, and you can learn how to use it with this tutorial:

    Just use the source range feature in TMPGenc to encode each half.
