  1. 4 bin files used SVCD2DVD to do its stuff output to BIN >ES, 352 and 1st header on each one. I got 2 files for each bin file. Load up Maestro and drop the audio file in no problem, try to drop the video file in and I get a media detection error 0xc10b0001.
Why the error aren't the files elementry files, why doesn't this damn thing work?
Close to throwing the PC out the window, can anyone suggest solutions?

Looks to me like you have a RAW (Riff header) mpg file.

You need to convert it to a normal mpeg first (b4 svcd2dvdmpg). Use VCDEasy for this. Tools->Mpeg Tools->CDxa2Mpeg.

This happens when mpgs are 'copied' from (S)VCDs not ripped. To ripp from a CDR use VCDEasy again.

    Hope this helps

Ok. i have never had a sync problem since using svcd2dvdmpg other than when crap sources have been involved (TVrips etc). What are you using as sources? Films or TV rips? Also is the sync ok in Maestor preview?

  7. 4 svcd's (popular film) NTSC trying to get them onto 1 DVD, I have tried 7-8 programs and about 10 or so tutorials over the past 6 days, its taken about 40-50 hours processing time in total to try to get it to work. SVCD2DVD came closest authored the files in Maestro and the audio started off fine "in synch" but after 20 minutes or so the audio and video didn't match up only a slight difference this time compared to other attempts but still noticeable. Found an entry in doom9 forums that might sovle it so will try this weekend.
