From start to finish, how many hours to make a 2 hours movie by dvd x copy? Is it relate to CPU power, more higher mhz more faster? Thanks.

  2. It all depends on how many disc DVDXCOPY needs to copy the movie to. If the movie fits on one disc, it will take about 30 minutes to rip and another 30 minuets to burn the dvd+r. If its two disc add another hour .
    I have a P4/2.53g machine.

It's not bad for an hr for one movie, include rip and burn. a lot faster than IC. Did you compare copy to one disc and 2 discs, can you see the difference? how's the quality looks? my tv is 57", so quality is more inportant.

  4. It's not just the size of your TV it's also how you use it.

    Sorry, had to say it.

  5. DVDxcopy keeps the original quality. That is why it sometimes takes more than one disc to copy.

For a big tv, it is. I did copy to SVCD before, for a 27" tv, can't see the different from original disc, but 57", it was so fuzzy. Now like to try DVD copy, quality is more inportant to me. But before invest in dvdxcopy, want to make sure the software is working good, because it can't be returned after opened.

DVDxcopy won't squeeze the data. You can get a DVD9 on one disc if removing the extras removes enough data for it to fit on one disc. The Platinum Version will shrink the whole DVD9 to a DVD5 disc when it comes out.

I've read about the dreaded 2x max rip speeds. What if you only have a DVD burner and not a separate DVD-ROM drive like the LiteONs? Will it take longer to rip the movie then?

    Thanks.
