  1. I have been encoding avi's to mpeg2 dvd compliant with TmpegEnc and then importing the resulting file into Spruce Up. The file imports fine, however after adding chapters and a menue screen, when I try to write a Title Set for burning with another program, Spruce Up gets to 99% and then says that there is a video stream error.

It still writes the AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS files however the VIDEO file lacks certain files required for burning. Any idea what's causing the error?

    Any help appreciated.

  2. You might try another version of TMPG.

  3. Since there doesn't seem to be a general answer to this question, could somebody tell me if I could just demultiplex the dvd compliant mpeg2 file and then load the resulting audio and m2v file into SpruceUp. If so, would the audio file have to be ac3, pcm, or what?

    Any help greatly appreciated!

  4. This is a known problem with spruce up it will say it failed at %99 but it did complet the job & all if fine. To test it just burn it to a dvd rw & watch the movie.
Me i got tired of spruce up limtations & switched to DVD Architect by Sonic Foundry.

  5. OOO i fogot there is one file that spruce puts in the video_ts folder that you need to delete it has some weird extention like .lay if you dont remove it the dvd will play in your computer but not in your standalone.
Also after you make the ts folder open the files with ifo edit it will tell you all files are not in caps do you want to fix say yes then your ready to burn with nero.
