I wish it were as simple as "it works on the software player so it should work in my standalone"![]()
My parents are making a video in MyDVD. They imported a compliant movie stream and made a slideshow from some pictures to take up more space (the vid is only 15 mins). They opted to keep the original pictures on the disc as they're sending it to relatives whom they would like to be able to reprint pictures if they so please. They burned one via MyDVD and it worked in their software player but not in their standalone (or my standalone). I noticed there are a lot of extra folders that MyDVD puts on the disc so I'm almost positive that's what is at fault. I've seen a JACKET folder before on a DVD so maybe if I move the slideshow pictures to that folder and remove all but the JACKET, VIDEO, and AUDIO folders and do a burn from those instead? Anything else I should be checking to make sure it does a more compatable burn?
