  1. Hi,

This is my first post. I'm a newbie and is still trying to understand the backup process and terminalogies. So forgive me if I ask too many questions.
What I want to do is to try to keep my widescreen movie in The Wild Thronberry's Movie and with the menus intact. How do I get rid of the menu that makes me select widescreen or fullscreen so that when I press play, it just plays the widescreen movie right away? Can anyone help me? I really want to keep the menus and without any errors. Help!

  2. Bump.

Is this impossible to do? Even though it just came out recently?

  3. ok u want the movie and menu..

u need to play the movie with ifoedit to find out what title sets u need to keep.

If the full dvd minus the fullscreen part can fit on a dvdr then its really simple..just rip everything except the fullscreen vobs then do a get vts sectors (in ifoedit) on the files u ripped. then play it to see if it works.

otherwise play the menu/movie in ifo edit see what titles that plays then rip only those then do a get vts sectors[/list]

  4. Thans for replying eatin sammiches for lunch.

Well I did what you said. Kept everything except vts_02_1.vob to vts_02_4.vob. Get vts sectors. Played the movie but aspect ratio menu is popping up after I press the play button. How do I get rid of that? Also when I press my fullscreen option, I get errors.

To my understanding, the aspect ratio menu does not reside in the vts_02_*.vobs I didn't keep. I found it in vts_02_0.vob. If I strip that out, would it play widescreen now when I press play? how would I know it's not going to play my fullscreen movie since it's gone. confused.

    Any ifoedit experts out there?

  5. Well, I manage to find the menu that my widescreen/fullscreen was in and did a delete playback on it in ifoedit. My aspect ratio went away but now my DVD is not playing right.

Oh well, since nobody replied with some advice, I'll just move on to the next DVD to avoid further frustrations. This DVD must be a toughie.
