  1. my DirecTV signal is very very bad, and i'm processing my videos for to much filters and stuff, so Tmpgenc take to much time to compress all this with the filters.

I want to know if i can setup my filters and correct my video in tmpgenc and then frameserve this to another program , like CCE.

I just want to save time when compressing. Thanks

If you want to add filters, then you need to load your source to a program like Virtualdub, add filters and then frameserve to TMPGenc of CCE.
All the built in filters of TMPGenc, are avalaible for Virtualdub too. But, using them on Virtualdub is way faster!

There are modificate versions of Virtualdub, capable to handle mpeg 2, which is what you need.

Also, for even more speed, there is the avisynth alternative. Read about it, some users love it. It can use the same filters with virtualdub.

  3. I found a guide time ago, with an explanation of how to frameserve with tmpgenc, but i can't find it. I just remember that was something with the .TPR project or something about that.

i think it went something like setup your project in tmpgenc and save the project, load the project into VFAPIConv to create a fake avi, then load the fake avi in CCE... but i only tried it a few times and couldn't get it to work.

The bottleneck is with TMPGenc rather than CCE. If it takes that long for TMPGenc to encode, it'll take that long to framserver ( or slightly less ).

Definately. Consider frame serving from VitualDub if you must have a GUI interface. It will be faster than TMPGenc. If you want even more speed, frameserve from AVISynth.
