  1. The new version has 1:1 dvd copy and improved movie quailty if you choose movie only.
Fingers crossed this one may work with VPC...

  4. I could not get the 1.1.1 demo version to run under VPC (crashes immediately at startup like previous versions, presumably at the registration window).

XWarrior --> is this the version you were able to make work? Any tricks?

Oh, silly me. It does work! However, the first disc I attempted to backup using Full Disk mode wouldn't play back in WinDVD on my work PC. Has anyone had success using Full Disk mode yet? Maybe it just had issues with the disc (Changing Lanes; R1). The error was something about the content not being the correct region.

How did you get it to work? 1.1.1 certainly doesn't work for me, and I am not using the demo btw. It's the licensed version which I know works on windows native. So what gives? Xwarrior, where you at?

  9. Mac people DVDD2ONE is a little buggy even on the PC. I captured THE Children of DUNE from the SCIFI channel. I edit out the commercial's and put all the MPEG2 files back together then use ulead to make the VOB file's. DVD2ONE 102 can run the new DVD that is 6gig's and make it to a 4.3gig DVD. Now DVD102 only does movies. DVD2111 can only back up DUNE if I click back up movie and these DVD i make have no menu's. I'm glad you MAC guy's are using DVD2ONE it's alot of fun

AntnyMD, please let us know how you got the new version to work under VPC. Version 1.1.1 works fine on my PC laptop, but like all previous *release* versions crashes immediately on startup under VPC. Can you help? I'd appreciate a PM if so. Thanks!

  11. OK guys,

Was away for a few days.

    I wanna apologize.

Was under the impression if you registered on PC and transfer to Mac VPC it would work. ( version 1.1.1 )

    This is not the case

    Sorry !!

  14. you'll all hate me for this..

But if Macs are so great why are they full of PC parts and now people are trying to run PC programs on them ? I dont think i ever hear of a PC user trying to run a Mac program...

Just remember kids please don't feed the troll

Mac's full of PC parts? Several technologies have come from Apple over the years:
    1) The mouse (Lisa)
    2) The GUI (Purchased for free from Xerox)
    3) DIMMs

But back to the topic at hand, I only run one program in VPC and thats because it is such a quality program that it has no equal in the mac world yet (yes dvd2one is what Im talkin about). I can, however, get the job done on my mac with more time if need be.

Why is it that PC users find it so hard to resist the Mac world, including posting in this forum? Ladies and gentlemen, I think this is what a switcher looks like right before they see the light.

    Apple firsts

GUI (in a personal computer) The first to use icons and a file menu
Mouse (along with GUI purchased from Xerox FOR MILLIONS in Apple stocks)
    DIMMs
    Personal Networking
    Shared Printing
First to use Firewire and USB interfaces as a standard
First to use the "modern" floppy

    Just to name a few.

I like how we get "PC" parts.
