    can this be done, and if so, how do i configure nero to to read that disc instead of it telling me to inseert a blank cd-rw......................holla

    NO!!!! THIS HAS BEEN DISCUSSED SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE! YOU NEED A DVD BURNER TO BURN DVDS! DVD-RW NOT CD-RW. USES DIFFERENT LASER.
