Hi all, I currently have an AverTV Stereo that works ok for what I've been doing but now it's time to move on.
I'd like to build my own PVR and need to find a good/cheap (always the way isn't it) card that supports hardware based encode/decode with TV-OUT. I'd also like the software to be able to 'wake' the computer from suspend mode (if possible) to record a show. I don't have tons of money but I'd rather spend a little more if that's what it takes.
Oh, the computer I'm using is a slim desktop with half-height video so the TV-OUT needs to be on the capture card. Thanks.
