    ok, got the same prob as a poster further down the board, but didnt really understand the answer!my standalone player plays svcd, but my freinds doesnt,tried the vcd header trick, but that didnt work(had sound, but no pictures)so the question is how do i turn it into a vcd that he can watch? is the only answer to reincode? only that seems to take forever THANKS

    Yes, reencoding is the only answer if the vcd header trick doesn't work.

    I suggest to burn the SVCD mpeg 2 using the VCD template (and the VCD compliancy OFF) in Nero. Works every time for me.
