-Hiya-
I 'captured' a DV cassette onto my hard drive. I no longer have the cassette, but was curious if I could transfer the DV stream back through my DV cam onto another DV cassette. Does anyone know if this is possible and if so how to do it? Also, if it is possible, is there any quality loss?
Supposedly DV doesn't lose quality, right? Or should I just find the person with the DV cassette and copy it from cam to cam?
-Thanks in advance-
Eric

Yes this is very possible. I know MGI Videowave has an option to go directly back to the tape. Its a nice way to edit out the unwanted stuff, burn a VCD and/ or put it to cassette for safe keeping.

take a look at probably one of the handyest dv utilities available... just select your dv video, and click "send to camera".
