I DOWNLOADED WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER9 AND NOW FOR SOME STRANGE REASON I CAN'T OPEN ASF FILES IN TMPEG, ANYBODY ELSE HAVE THIS PROBLEM?

winstone - everything I've read indicates STAY AWAY from WMP9. Microsoft is big into digital rights management, which may likely be affecting your ability to modify media with it installed.
I don't think there's an uninstall either..... -
Stay Away...I d/l it b/c of ESPN motion and after a couple weeks...I decided to uninstall it...BUT...there is none. I tried to just uncheck all file formats and re-check all formats back to WMP 6.4 but the checks recognize bnoth versions and WMP9 trumps. The only way to get it out was to use system restore to before it was downloaded. What a bunch of crap.............
